Be a godly example and a source of strength for your children. Love them unconditionally. Encourage them not to neglect but to exercise the gifts God has given them. Be their loudest cheerleader! Cheer them on in the race they're running both in the Lord and in their daily lives. Reward them by letting them know they are #1 in your book, no matter what. Teach them God's truths in practical ways (without preaching). Prepare them to stand on their own, and prepare yourself to eventually let them go---and trust God.
